12-3 record for the NFL playoffs, and already have two plays that were made last Sunday:

Carolina+4.5(Cris)single play
Pitt+3+114(Pinny)single play

Those are in...

However, all week I looked at both games and felt soundly with one and not so with the other. My Carolina play is just fine by me...But Pittsburgh is no longer my side. Two things led to my position change:

First, beating the prohibitive favorite Colts will take something away from them...they can say that they are focused on Denver...I am not buying it...That was their SuperBowl...Period.

Second, The Broncos are as solid a hometeam as anyone. In the 9-0 home record they compiled...opponents averaged 12.5 points. While they smoked 'em with an avg of 26 points at home. The key for me is when I looked at their defense...the Broncos have one hell of a unit there. Speed and toughness. Matching Pittsburgh easily. So then....Shannahan vs Cowher...in my haste I chose Cowher. Mistake. He cannot win this game...he will make some mistakes and that will add on to the beating they will receive. He reminds me of Tony LaRussa...diff sport...same result...TLR cannot win the big game, over and over again. Granted beating the Colts was HUGE...but this is different. The Steelers are expeted to win this game in most circles....even though they are the dog. Just not as big a dog as they were last Sunday. This is going to be a wipeout. Denver will stop the run, and Big Ben chokes as he did last year vs NE. Could not do it then and WILL NOT do it this year.

Adjustments were made...here are my additonal plays:

Denver -3(Cris) Triple play
Denver -.5-117(1H Pinny) double play

Denver -7.5+165(Cris Alternate Line) Triple play
Denver -10.5+270(Pinny Alternate Line) single play

Carolina stays the same. No additonal play there as of yet...

If your logic for this game is because you expect Ben R. to play on the same par as last years conf championship...then I feel pretty good siding against you.

Denver is 9-0 at home. They stop the run at home...allowing 78 total yards rushing at Invesco. Their secondary is solid, and makes plenty of plays...3rd in the AFC with 20 INTS, picked off Brady twice last week. During the season Denver was +20 and Pittsburgh +7 in turnover ratio.

Opponents are averaging a little over 12 points per game in Denver. Roethlisberger will get to find out 1st hand today. Turnover battle goes to Denver...and they go onto Detroit.

Congrats to the Steelers.

That AFC-3.5 SuperBowl line probably will go up now after this performance today.

4-21 here which brings my playoff record to 16-24 w/Carolina pending.

No reason to add another play with the line being 3.5 now.
